Important Points Regarding JKSSB Class-IVth 2nd Shortlist:
• The document verification of the candidates mentioned in the shortlist shall start from 17.02.2022
• Total Number of Aspirants Called for Document Verification= 15223

• Merit cum Preference / Aspirants whose Score is High But Not in List: If your name is not given in the 2nd Document Verification List, then check your submitted preferences once again. The entire shortlist is based on the number of vacancies in District/Division/UT cadre & the preferences submitted by the candidates. Most of the candidates will be shocked not to see their names in the shortlist but the ones who have low score below them will be in the shortlist, it is all because of the preferences submitted by the candidates.
• The merit and final selection is greatly influenced by the preferences submitted by the aspirants.
• Shortlist Ratio: Board shortlisted the candidates in the ratio of 1:4 of the total advertised vacancies on the basis of aggregate marks.
• Mode of Selection: Rule 6, Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment Rules, 2020
• Procedure of Selection: It has been decided in the meetings that in terms of rule 6 (1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment Rules, 2020, the Board is required to shortlist the candidates in the ratio of 1:4 of the total advertised vacancies on the basis of aggregate marks. In terms of the aforesaid rules, as against one vacancy in each cadre, four candidates are required to be shortlisted and after evaluating the merit cum preference the candidate has to be considered for that particular cadre only.
• In the light of the advice furnished by the General Administration Department, it has been decided by the JKSSB Board to proceed further in the matter and accordingly a list of 15223 candidates in the 2nd phase of document verification (Jammu/Kashmir based candidates) who are to be considered for filling up of leftover vacancies and issuance of waiting list is hereby notified as Annexure “A” to this Notification.
• The document verification of the candidates figuring in Annexure A to this notification shall be held w.e.f 17.02.2022. However, the detailed document verification schedule shall be notified separately.
• Further, it is also notified that the Board if considered expedient, may call additional candidates wherever required, for filling all the advertised posts, subject to the conditions laid in the rules and opinion rendered by the General Administration Department vide communication ibid.
